About Red Field

Red Field is a new quantity surveying practice based in the south west of England. The managing director and principal surveyor is Boyd Rogers, who has had a varied career in all aspects of the building industry. As a qualified surveyor, Boyd worked for a bespoke housing development company and later, specialising in quantity surveying, worked for an international contractor in the fields of restoration and conservation. As Projects Director he managed jobs in the UK, Ireland, France, Canada and the US. Projects included work on The Royal Opera House in London and Queen's Galleries, Buckingham Palace.

Enquiries to Red Field are primarily dealt with by Sharon Rogers, also a director responsible for administration, sales and marketing, and for liaising with property agents and immobiliers in France. Previously she worked for North Somerset Council as Leisure Developments Manager, with responsibility for leisure centre contracts, sports and arts development and outdoor recreation.

Red Field is a fully insured quantity surveying practice that will guide you through your project so that you stay in control of the contracts and finances.

It's important to know how much our services are going to cost before you engage us so, to give you an indication, our basic hourly rates start from £20 per hour though this is negotiable for long-term contracts.

We can work on an arrangement to suit you, which may be as and when you need us and on an hourly, half day or daily basis. We are happy to work with you in your office and on site.

Estimating and project costs can be agreed on a fixed price basis and are calculated by the size of the individual projects.
